Symbols: Agartha, Earth (element).
Agartha's a legit place. It's also a symbol of the hidden inner kingdom in the abdomen.
The earth element is Capricorn, Virgo, and Taurus. We go inward in winter and in any earth sign.
In Taurus we turn into a tree. Think brain stem, back bone, nervous system; bearing your nerves, pulling your weight, thinking. Everything from the fire and burning of Aries carries over like wheels in the roots of the earth, moving the earth in a way Spring does, --- picture machinery, think Vulcan, cave entrances in terraces and floors in the earth. The bull that never moves moves, and a type of spiritual earthquake comes. The earth doesn't move in just a physical way, or a soul way. It moves us in a way that matures us, deepens us. In a mental way it makes us more thoughtful, internal, and imaginative.
Agartha corresponds to Virgo. It's the inner self/ imagination-self, in the sense the gut connects to the brain like a hose connects water to a plant: without the gut regulation your brain will blur into instability (gut bacteria induced mental illnesses like BPD). Without Virgo your brain will be an unfiltered mess. People with Virgo malefic have overactive imaginations that manifest as OCD. They have a disconnect unlike Taurus, but Agartha is their sanctuary. It is the lake in the abdomen, pure, essential. It's the source of where dreamers dream and inventors invent. Think about every socially beneficial technology provided to mankind through intelligent people, all the great advancements. That's the agarthic dynamis. Meditation on this image (Agartha) would cure people's PH imbalances, and mental illnesses relating to the gut.
Active imagination is a psych tech for soul decoding. Example: I lay down and day dream. My imagination shows me walking down hallways in a house. I decode that to mean something about my emotional state.
Pathworking is active imagination under frame. Instead of letting your mind wander, guide it - in this case into Agartha. Visualize going down and into the earth. Let images unfold of forests and lakes inside the sacred earth, and sense that this place is the source of inspiration, and peace and wisdom; ancient, untouched, immortal; resilient, thoughtful. The effect will be deepening, healing, calming. One of the best effects of the earth element healing is regaining your sense of self. All of a sudden you go from flat lining to filling a cup. Goodbye dryness. Interestingly the earth element supports the personality development the most.
There is something stimulating about the design and craftsmanship of nature in regard to earth. Cavern systems are enchanting because they seem otherworldly. Human but more. They're like the Fibonacci pattern applied to earth. This same logic is how George Washington Carver discovered the "Prussian Blue" pigment, a rare color pigment, that could be extracted from the soil where he lived in rural america, making him rich for seeing the value in something common. That's the type of condition agartha and inner earth cultivate in the soul - science, intelligence, wisdom, understanding.
Like Janus, the Tinkerer is a Capricorn/Saturn and Winter-specific symbol. It's a symbol of the condition of inwardness, and inventiveness, and personality development unique to Winter.
An awareness of the earth as an (organic) machine.
May 6, Taurus.
